The overwhelmingly dominant force in social media is still Facebook. By every measure… total number of users, total visitors per month, total number of posts, etc. etc., Facebook still comes out on top. Their most recent claim of dominance was its announcement of 2 billion users per month. So, there are 7.5 billion people on earth and a quick mathematical calculation yields this amazing stat:

If your business is not on Facebook, there might be a compelling reason or it might be time to revisit your social media strategy.
Regarding content, video is now the content of choice and there seems to be an unlimited demand. People are watching videos online every day (55% of people) and this brings us to a couple more amazing stats:

- Viewers remember 95% of a message, whereas readers remember 10%.
